Some parts of this model and its operation are quite technical. I've put together a few pages explaining what I've done and why I've done it.
There are no right or wrong ways of doing many of these things, and if you asked different modellers they would come up with different answers to some of them! I'm grateful to members of the Model Rail Forum for their advice.
In particular there is a lot of good information on the DCC Concepts site and I've also utilised information on curve transitions from Model Railways Online.
