I'd visited Crich before with friends but as they were having a world-at-war homefront day I thought it worth another go. There were a large number of reenactors there and quite a few veterans as well (they got free entry). I enjoyed the visit but I'm not so keen on some of the changes made since the previous time. As with so many museum displays themes and children's activities have rather taken over and there are fewer actual displays than before. You still get to ride the trams though, the main reason for going.
