South Tynedale Railway

The South Tynedale is another slight oddity as it's not really a preserved railway. It's a narrow-gauge line built on a standard-gauge trackbed, still worth a visit though.

Also well worth a visit is the adjacent Hub Museum (sorry, no photos of this as it was a dark day and the museum is very full of stuff!)

The railway website is at http://www.south-tynedale-railway.org.uk
