Sunday - Strumpshaw and Caister

A while before the holiday, whilst I was planning where to go, I discovered the Strumpshaw Steam Museum on the TV programme Salvage Hunters. It was a complete contrast to Thursford albeit coming from similar origins as one man's collection. They had some steam engines running (albeit on compressed air) but it's nothing very sophisticated. The weather was poor that day and I was looking for something indoor to do. Whilst heading to Strumpshaw I'd seen signs for a car collection so that seemed a possibility. I'd definitely call House in the Brown Sign Bingo for finding the Caister Castle Car Collection. It's really just a lot of cars, with some history, but very interesting for the average geek.
