October 2013 - Delivery Trip

Originally we'd planned to have a week's sailing, probably around the Blackwater Estuary on Brigantia, however plans had to change with the purchase of Erbas. Things became even more complicated when Brigantia was sold a few days before we set out to a gentleman in Tollesbury, so at this point we had the new boat at Tollesbury, the old boat at Fambridge and the need by the end of the week to have them the other way round! In addition there were some time pressure on getting Brigantia moved and handed over to her new owner.

The weather forecast prevented the initial plan of moving Brigantia first so in the end we spent a few days on Erbas with Bruce and Rick moving Brigantia in the middle, before we actually got some decent sailing in. The downside was I spent more time shuffling cars and did more driving miles than I'd have liked but that's how it goes!
